Upon purchase or approval of a subscription, DykeSoft Technologies grants the licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and operate the School Management System desktop software on the authorized number of workstation devices specified in your license agreement.
Each license seat is cryptographically bound to an individual workstation PC's hardware fingerprint (Machine ID). Licensees may deactivate a device via the Customer Portal to migrate to a replacement workstation within the terms of their subscription.
Evaluation trial licenses are issued for a maximum duration of 5 days solely for evaluation purposes. Activation of trial software is subject to review and approval by the Application Owner.
Because the database resides locally on the customer's hardware, the customer is solely responsible for maintaining routine database backups (using the built-in backup utility or PostgreSQL pg_dump).
